The Robotics Summit & Expo, produced by The Robot Report’s parent company, WTWH Media, is pleased to announce its Academic Outreach Program. The program offers academics, researchers and students at colleges, universities and research centers complimentary and discounted full conference passes. The Robotics Summit & Expo, which runs May 10-11 at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center, is an international engineering event designed for those developing commercial-class robots.

Under the Academic Outreach Program, approved educational and research institutions are provided with two complimentary full conference passes to the event. Once those passes are used, others are still able to register at a discounted full conference rate. Discounts are also available for groups of 10 or more, while expo only passes cost just $ 100.

To apply for the Academic Outreach Program, email [email protected] using an email that includes “.edu.” Accepted applicants must present a valid academy-related ID upon arrival at the conference.

The Robotics Summit & Expo will feature 100-plus exhibitors, 50-plus speakers, the MassRobotics Engineering Career Fair, a Design for Additive Manufacturing Workshop, and networking receptions. Attendees also have the chance to test drive Boston Dynamics’ Spot quadruped. Full conference passes are $ 795, while expo-only passes are just $ 100. Academic discounts are available and academic full conference rates are $ 295. Register today.
